META-SUBJECT-VECTOR CHARACTER OF FORMATION OF COMMUNICATIVE-COMPENSATOR COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS OF BASIC SCHOOL
Abstracts

Introduction. This article analyzes the role of metasubject and vector nature of the learning process in the formation of the communicative and compensatory competence of students at school. The purpose of the article is to reveal the nature of this phenomenon within the framework of the implementation of the linguistic and cultural course "There is a contact" (“Est kontakt”) and to diagnose the level of formation of the above mentioned competence after its introduction into the educational process.

Materials and methods. The main methods of research are theoretical analysis of scientific literature devoted to the problem under study of domestic and foreign scientists; empirical (conversation, questionnaires, testing), interpretive (quantitative and qualitative analysis, mathematical processing of diagnostic results).

Results. The metasubject and vector nature of the learning process with the purpose of forming the communication and compensatory competence of students at school had the following features: flexibility of the use of acquired knowledge; stimulation of motivation to implement intercultural dialogue; application of compensatory skills through the use of knowledge from related subjects (history, music, literature, geography, etc.); discovery of creative potential; improvement of communicative tolerance.

Discussion. The use of the questionnaire for students “Achievement of metasubject educational results” by N.A. Chulanova, testing “Estimation of the sociability level” by V.F. Riakhovskii, as well as the test block of questions “Using metasubject knowledge in a foreign language lesson” allowed to state the fact of increasing the level of the communicative and compensatory competence of students of basic general education after the introduction of the linguistic and ethnocultural course “There is a contact” (“Est kontakt”) focused on the implementation of a metasubject and vector nature of the learning process.

Conclusion. The timeliness of the problem under study determined the development and testing of the linguistic and ethnocultural course "There is a contact" (“Est kontakt”), which provided positive dynamics of the formation of the competence under consideration.
