PREPARATION OF MASTERS OF THE DIRECTION “LAND MANAGEMENT AND CADASTRES” FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL MAPS OF THE LAND AREA BY MEANS OF GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Abstracts

Introduction. For land management and inventories, you must create different maps. In order for masters to create digital maps, they need to be taught this. The author solve the actual problem of using modern geographic information systems in teaching masters to create digital maps of the area.

Materials and methods. The author use the system, activity and technology approaches, methods of analysis, comparison, synthesis, survey

Results. The author explain the features of GIS technologies as innovative technologies.  These technologies are used in various fields for processing spatial information.  The author explain the choice of MapInfo GIS as a means of teaching the master of land management and cadastres to create digital maps of the area.  The author demonstrate the teaching potential of MapInfo GIS.  They give an example of a digital map of the area, which students do in laboratory classes and in an educational project.

Discussion. The results of a survey of students of the control and experimental groups confirm the hypothesis about the effectiveness of using MapInfo GIS in teaching land management and cadastre masters to create digital maps based on the designmethod. The author compared the students' responses before stud ying GIS

and after studying GIS in each group.  In the experimental group, the author tested the method of teaching the creation of digital maps in project activities.  In the educational project there were all stages of creating a digital map. The author showed an increase in the average score for assessing the implementation of the control task on the topic — the preparation of the graphic part of the survey project.

Conclusion. The results of the work can be used to develop educational and methodological support for educational programs of a broad master's program when teaching students how to create digital maps of various contents.
