PROFESSIONAL RETRAINING OF SPECIALISTS OF SOCIAL OFFICES USING DISTANCE EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES
Abstracts

Introduction. The development of professional standards for specialists in social services led to the emergence of a problem of inconsistency between the educational profile and labor functions of employees. There was a need for professional training and retraining of social workers. In the presented article the problems of professional retraining are considered and the program “Social work. Technologies for organizing and implementing social assistance to the population”.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate and introduce the author's program of professional retraining “Social work. Technologies for the organization and implementation of social assistance to the population”.

Materials and methods. The main research methods are the analysis of scientific literature devoted to the problem of professional retraining of specialists of social services using distance educational technologies, analysis of the regulatory and legal support of additional professional education and requirements for the level of professional competence of social workers, theoretical analysis and synthesis.

Results. The study provides a theoretical substantiation of the problem, offers an option for placing educational content and its content; substantiated and introduced the author's program of professional retraining “Social work. Technologies for organizing and implementing social assistance to the population”; the authors present the characteristics of the professional retraining program; revealed and described effective methods of distance learning in the system of electronic educational environment.

Discussion. The substantiation is given that the developed professional retraining program meets the requirements of the professional standard of a specialist in social work, and is also successive to the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 39.03.02 “Social Work”.

Conclusion. The conclusion is made that professional retraining under the program “Social work. Technologies for the organization and implementation of social assistance to the population”, implemented in absentia with the use of distance technologies, is an effective way of training specialists in the social sphere. The proposed form of training will contribute to an increase in the quality of training, in comparison with the classical correspondence form.
