Conclusion. Endogenous and exogenous factors, as well as their combination, have an impact on autism in children and adolescents. To exogenous, first of all, should be attributed to the family factor, to endogenous severity and duration of the course of the concomitant disease. The autistic process, in most cases, is "plastic", which allows, in the presence of adequate psychological, pedagogical, medical and biological rehabilitation of children and adolescents with autism, to obtain good results, especially in the manifestation of "autistic neurosis". The multifactorial characteristics of patients with autism allows one to more accurately determine the nature of the problem processes of the psychological structure of the personality, and formulate the priority directions of rehabilitation.

Highlights

At the present stage of the development of science, an increasing emphasis in the study of the problem of autism is shifting towards psychological and pedagogical understanding.

At the same time, it should not be denied that autism, as a phenomenon of human higher nervous activity, is linked to a number of psychological processes, primarily with the energy potential of the individual and the emotional component. Proceeding from this, in the recent past, close attention to this problem was riveted on both psychiatrists and neurophysiologists.

It should be noted that autism is not a closed phenomenon, but a closely related process with environmental factors, and it is they that determine the nature of the development of the course of autism in general.
