Introduction. The article substantiates the relevance of the problem of facilitation of professional development of the individual by cadets of a military university. One of the main goals of individual work with cadets is the development of professional qualities of the individual and high performance in training.

Materials and methods. The main research methods are the analysis of the scientific literature devoted to the problem of facilitation of professional development of the individual in educational institutions, the position of the system, activity, personality-oriented, acmeological approaches, as well as diagnostic methods, including observation, description, conversation, questionnaires, testing, methods of mathematical statistics.

Results. The authors have developed methodological recommendations for the use of facilitation support in individual work with cadets of a military university, which reflect the conditions for the use of facilitation support in the main events of military-political work, aimed at the professional development of the personality of cadets of military universities.

Discussion. The method proposed by the authors is recommended for practical use in military universities.

Conclusion. It is concluded that the implementation of facilitation support in individual work with cadets will contribute to the professional development of the personality of a cadet of a military university.
