TEACHING VOLLEYBALL GAME TECHNIQUES TO PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS BY MEANS OF MOVEMENT GAMES
Abstracts

Introduction. The article substantiates the effectiveness of teaching the technique of playing volleyball to primary school students by means of outdoor games. We believe that the topic is relevant because, during volleyball classes, using outdoor games, taking into account the division of students into age categories, you can achieve higher sports results. The purpose of the article is to improve the methodology for teaching the technique of playing volleyball by means of outdoor games for primary school students.

Materials and methods. When writing the article, we used the following research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature devoted to the search for methods aimed at teaching the technique of playing volleyball to students by means of outdoor games, the observation method, as well as a pedagogical experiment, ball possession testing and methods of analysis and comparison. An analysis was made of outdoor games with an emphasis on volleyball for secondary schools and an analysis of the final results of the control and experimental groups of the school.

Results. Using the analysis of scientific and methodological literature, we learned what outdoor games and exercises can be used to teach ball possession techniques to students of this age category. Using the method of observation, we saw the possibilities of students and games that are most interesting for children of this age category. We have selected exercises and outdoor games that are suitable during classes when teaching the technique of playing volleyball, and we have excluded games that are not perceived by children to the right extent. After testing, an analysis was made of outdoor games with an emphasis on volleyball for secondary schools and an analysis of the final results of the control and experimental groups of the school.

Discussion. It is assumed that by conducting volleyball classes with primary school students, using outdoor games and relay races, we can achieve high sports results.

Conclusion. The authors came to the conclusion that the results of primary school students in mastering the technique and tactics of playing volleyball improve due to properly selected and used special exercises and outdoor games. Some games develop the physical abilities necessary for playing volleyball, while others allow you to properly teach technical and tactical techniques.
