INTEGRATED CLASSES FOR FOREIGN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Abstracts

Introduction. The article examines the current problem of integration in the higher education system. The authors, analyzing theoretical material and practical experience, focus on the effectiveness of integrated classes in mastering the curriculum by foreign students and listeners. The introduction of the described form of conducting classes leads to an increase in the level of language competence, increased motivation for learning and the formation of a systematic acquisition of knowledge by future specialists.

Materials and Methods. During the study of the topic, the experience of predecessors in the field of application of integrated classes was analyzed and summarized. The focus of researchers' attention is on the effectiveness of this form of training in the formation of the secondary linguistic personality of military specialists studying at Russian military universities. The use of classical general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, experiment, observation and generalization made it possible to draw conclusions about the prospects of this area.

Results. The results of a pedagogical experiment on the integration of the disciplines “Russian language and speech culture” and “Jurisprudence” in a group of military specialists teaching at a Russian military university showed the readiness of the experiment participants to accept this form of training, as well as high results in mastering the current program material in the disciplines.

Discussion. The authors analyze and summarize the results of the integrated lesson. A fragment of the lesson is provided, demonstrating practical material aimed at solving the goals and objectives of the lesson. Based on the results obtained, a conclusion is made about the effectiveness and prospects of an integrated lesson as a form of organizing educational activities, which is based on a leading discipline and an accompanying one, which contributes to a deeper assimilation of the material of the first.

Conclusion. Researchers come to the conclusion that integrated classes in the higher education system are an effective means of learning new material using interdisciplinary connections. In addition to mastering the material of the disciplines being studied, strong learning skills are formed, motivation increases for both students and teachers, and creative abilities develop.
