Introduction. The article describes the procedure for testing the author's questionnaire aimed at studying the ethic orientations of an individual in the Internet space. The relevance of the development of this toolkit and its advantages are substantiated. The purpose of the article is to test the questionnaire “Ethic orientations of the individual in the Internet space”. The article carried out a theoretical analysis of research on the issue of ethic and ethic behavior, including among active Internet users.
Materials and methods. The main research methods are the analysis of scientific literature devoted to the study of morality within the framework of domestic and foreign psychology. Correlation analysis was used, thanks to which it was possible to confirm the validity of the author’s diagnostic questionnaire “Ethicorientations of the individual in the Internet space”.
Results. The results of the testing procedure for the author's questionnaire “Ethic orientations of the individual in the Internet space” are presented. The methodology was tested in 2023, the experimental sample consisted of 70 people studying in educational institutions of the Republic of Crimea. According to the results of the study, convergent validity exceeds discriminant validity (reliability levels of 0.05 and 0.01), which allows us to speak about the validity of the author's research questionnaire. The obtained reliability coefficients also indicate the high reliability of the questionnaire. Taking into account the statistical parameters of the normal distribution, such as mean values and standard deviations, normal levels were determined according to the scales of the author's research questionnaire.
Discussion. The article puts forward the thesis that the moral sphere is a complex structure including moral, conventional and personal ethic orientations, emphasizing the influence of the Internet on the development of personal moral orientations. The Internet space contributes to the formation and change of moral orientations of the individual, as it has a number of specific features. As a consequence, there is a need to study the ethic orientations of individuals in the Internet space, using psychodiagnostic techniques. Based on this, the relevance of creating psychodiagnostic tools aimed at measuring the level of development of moral orientations, including the study of personal moral orientations in the Internet space, is determined. The author’s created questionnaire has a number of features: firstly, it is easy to use and further process the results, and secondly, it allows you to study the levels of formation of the moral components of an Internet user’s personality, which solves the problem posed earlier.
Conclusion. Theoretical analysis of the literature allowed us to conclude that psychodiagnostic methods aimed at studying the components of ethic in the Internet space are insufficient; as a result, the need arose to create and test the author’s questionnaire. As a result of the testing of the methodology, its reliability, validity and validity were proven, which makes the developed tools possible for use in studies aimed at studying the ehic sphere of Internet users.
