PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONALITY OF THE FORMATION OF THE VOCABULARY OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Abstracts

Introduction. The topic of the article is due to the need for students of the main general education schools to study lexical units of different levels of the Russian language. The formation of linguistic skills in working with lexical units is more productive by developing methodological techniques using the example of texts of works of art and taking into account the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education, the Federal Target Program «Russian Language» for 2016–2022. Federal Law «On Education in the Russian Federation» No. 273-FZ dated December 29, 2012, as amended on March 6, 2019. These documents define general approaches in determining the priority areas of the state strategy in the field of teaching the Russian language. Purpose of the article: to identify the psychological and pedagogical prerequisites for the formation of the vocabulary of middle-level students of a general education school and to determine methodological approaches in replenishing it with students in the Russian language lessons and in extracurricular activities.

Materials and methods. The material of the study was the process of forming the vocabulary of middle-level students of a general education school. The main research methods are the analysis of educational and methodological and scientific literature devoted to the problem of organizing educational and extracurricular activities for students. Descriptive and comparative methods were used to obtain objective conclusions. When analyzing the structure and content of the vocabulary of a work of art, the method of component analysis and structural-semantic, as well as descriptive-analytical, empirical, statistical and diagnostic methods were used, including observation, description, conversation, questioning, testing, methods of continuous sampling and statistical data processing.

Results. Due to the increased speech illiteracy of schoolchildren, the work on the formation of students' vocabulary will be effective. The presented methodology proves the expediency of studying the psychological and pedagogical conditionality of the formation of the vocabulary of middle-level students of a general education school. It is proved that the replenishment of the vocabulary and work on the purity of speech of students on the basis of literary sources is a means and tool for the formation of language competence in the framework of a secondary school.

Discussion. The question of ways to form the vocabulary of secondary school students is proposed for discussion. In adolescence, there is a desire to increase the activity of schoolchildren to work together, to analyze various events, actions, phenomena, they strive for self-expression, acquiring knowledge that, in their opinion, can be practically useful to them, and, as a result, the vocabulary of schoolchildren increases significantly. Colloquialisms, colloquial words and expressions appear in the colloquial speech of students, therefore, for the effective replenishment of the lexicon, it is necessary to read works of art. During this period, there is a lot of work with the word. A significant role is played by the study of the expressive possibilities of the word, which are most clearly manifested in the fabric of the work of art.

Conclusion. As a result of the study, it was proved that the use of words of various stylistic coloring in speech contributes to the expansion of the student's horizons, increase the figurativeness, emotionality of his speech, promotes openness and accessibility of communication; the use of words of different functional affiliation in works of fiction is due to the desire to stylize and increase the figurativeness of the text. To reveal the image of the hero, the masters of the word introduce phraseological units, dialectal and colloquial words into his speech, create original turns of speech, and contribute to his communication.
