Introduction. This article attempts to analyze the primary prevention of illegal behavior of adolescents and present it as one of the main tools for the prevention of their destructive behavioral strategy. The purpose of the article is to reveal the author's concept of primary prevention of illegal behavior of adolescents.
Materials and Methods. The main research methods are the analysis of scientific literature devoted to the primary prevention of illegal behavior of adolescents; diagnostic conversations with adolescents, their questionnaires, methods of statistical information processing. The study was conducted on the basis of secondary schools in the city of Vladimir.
Results. The author argues that an interdisciplinary approach with an emphasis on preventive pedagogy has undoubted theoretical and practical significance for solving the problem under study. The most effective forms of work are recognized as joint activities of social teachers of schools with inspectors of internal affairs; Prevention councils. The author claims that illegal behavior is a phenomenon with a complex character, corrected by the influence of a system of legal, political, economic, pedagogical, psychological and other factors.
Discussion. The thesis about the need for early primary prevention of illegal behavior of adolescents is emphasized. Scientists emphasize the importance of taking into account the mental and physical health of adolescents and their individual characteristics in primary preventive work.
Conclusion. The conclusion is made about the conditions contributing to the success of the primary prevention of illegal behavior of adolescents. The primary prevention of illegal behavior of minors itself is defined as an essential tool for influencing the worldview and legitimate behavioral strategy of adolescents.
