Introduction. The article discusses the psychological characteristics of a person's digital behavior, including communicative and cognitive components. The contradictions in the existing scientific studies of digitalization are revealed. On the one hand, a number of authors note that the digital environment has a negative impact on cognitive performance; on the other hand, researchers write about the emergence of new strategies in the course of interaction with technology. The results of standardization of the author's research questionnaire aimed at diagnosing cognitive distortions in the perception of the digital environment are presented.
Materials and methods. The main research methods are analysis of the literature on research issues; empirical research methods include standardization of the author's questionnaire.
Results. The analysis of the research results allowed us to develop the missing toolkit for psychodiagnostics of the cognitive features of the digital behavior of a person.
Discussion. The results obtained indicate the possibility of studying the cognitive characteristics of digital users.
Conclusion. The study revealed the lack of psychological tools for diagnosing the cognitive features of a person's digital behavior; the author's research questionnaire was proposed.
