Introduction. The article presents an analysis of the problem of teachers managing the professional career in preschool educational organizations of Chelyabinsk. The key issue is to determine the main managerial actions of the manager of the teacher’s professional development considering the requirements and demands of modern educational practice. The purpose of the article is to examine the specifics of the career environment and career space in the preschool educational organization and to analyze the significant factors of effective management
of the teacher’s professional career.
Materials and methods. The main research methods include review of scientific literature describing a problem of managing a professional career in the education system, the identification and analysis of effective managerial actions aimed at creating a career environment in a preschool educational organization. Moreover, leading career motives of teachers and effectiveness of methodological work in pre-school educational organizations were assessed using questionnaires, testing methods, and data processing methods.
Results. The article highlights the key conditions for career growth and self-fulfillment of teachers in the professional sphere, it confirms the need of creation of an environment that motivates and stimulates the social, qualification and job career growth of teachers, as well as the importance of methodological work in career development and in organizing productive professional and pedagogical activities. Recommendations on effective management of the professional career of a teacher in a preschool educational organization are given.
Discussion. The results of the research of managing the professional career of teachers in preschool educational organizations in Chelyabinsk confirmed the need for the management entities to show initiative in promoting the employees on their positions, encourage professional development and career planning of personnel, which determines the high relevance of the stated topic.
Conclusion. The presented set of managerial actions and measures for the professional development of teachers will allow to individualize the methodological work in the preschool educational organizations, to direct it on mindful identification of the goals of professional and personal self-development and self-improvement for each teacher in the profession. Also, the set will help to correctly form personal motives for a professional career through job achievements. Career management helps to plan professional training and increase the employees’ motivation to develop professional skills based on their own interests and opportunities.
