Introduction. This article attempts to reveal the domestic experience of preventing illegal behavior of adolescents as the least protected segments of the population. Preventive work is carried out based on the age, psychological, physiological, and social characteristics of adolescents.

Materials and Methods. The article is based on the materials of the author's dissertation research on the problems of peda-gogical prevention of illegal behavior of high school students. The author uses methods of content analysis of scientific literature on the problem under study, diagnostic conversations with adolescents, their questionnaires, modeling methods.

Results. The article focuses on the pedagogical prevention of the prevention of illegal behavior of adolescents, while not ignoring intersubject connections. The author pays attention to the solution of the studied problems by representatives of psychological, legal, sociological and medical directions.

Discussion. Adolescents from the social risk group need the following measures of influence: actualization of interest in life and constructive forms of leisure, education of responsibility for one's actions, disclosure of creative potential, creative resource, abilities, individual capabilities. It is necessary to activate the moral component of adolescents when they engage in any kind of activity.

Conclusion. The article concludes about the importance of an integrative interdepartmental approach to the prevention of illegal behavior of adolescents. The author emphasizes the need to organize the rational spending of free time by teenagers.
