MOBILE APP “CASTLE QUIZ” AS A MODERN TOOL FOR FUTURE TEACHERS' LITERARY EDUCATION
Abstracts

Introduction. The Federal State Educational Standard dictates the most important task of literary education — the formation of an independent, creative personality of a competent reader in literature lessons, who is ready for creative activity and has critical thinking, which, in turn, involves the use of modern methods and forms of education. Mobile applications in school circulation are an operational help for the teacher. Therefore, the ability to skillfully use this type of education is mandatory for future philologists to study at a pedagogical university.

Materials and methods. In the article, we resorted to the use of methods of comparative and hermeneutic analysis. A check of students' readiness was made on the basis of the fourth year of the Faculty of Philology.

Results. The study includes an assessment of the main problems of using this type of work, a review of the main mobile applications recommended for use at a particular stage of the lesson, as well as a comparative analysis of the types of modern mobile applications whose use is possible in literature lessons on the example of “Castle Quiz”. Proposals have been developed for conducting the final stage of studying a literary topic using the Castle Quiz application.

Discussion. The study contains a systematic consideration of the specifics of the application of classical methods of work in literature lessons in combination with the use of the Castle Quiz mobile application. Proposed methodological advice to language teachers for conducting lessons in the study of literary text at school with an appeal to a mobile application. Guidelines for the organization of the final lesson of literature on the topic using technological innovations allow teachers to refer to a modern, to some extent more effective type of work in preparing for classes.

Conclusion. Recommended tips for developing literature classes at school using the Castle Quiz mobile application make it possible not only to form a full-fledged, independent personality of a modern student with an active research position, but also to develop a reader-creator capable of creating his own text, which today is the most important task of literary education. A creative reader, ready to respond with his text to the problems raised in classical works — this is the level of modern education that the current school strives for in literature lessons.
