WAYS TO INCREASE THE DIGITAL LITERACY OF FUTURE TEACHERS WHEN WORKING IN SOCIAL NETWORKS
Abstracts

Introduction. The article considers the concept of digital literacy and highlights its components necessary for future teachers. Directions for conducting educational, educational and scientific events for future teachers were proposed to improve digital literacy when working in social networks.

Materials and methods. The main research methods are observation, experiment, analysis and generalization of results. In the course of the study, an analysis was made of the difficulties that future teachers face when working in social networks.

Results. It was found that students are not sufficiently aware of the features of educational communities in social networks, network etiquette and professional ethics when communicating in social networks and by e-mail, and also do not have sufficient knowledge in the field of information security on the Internet. It is proposed to conduct educational, educational and scientific activities with students aimed at improving the digital literacy of future teachers.

Discussion. The use of social networks contributes to a more efficient organization of the educational process, however, for their effective use, it is necessary to constantly improve the digital literacy of teachers. Since digital technologies in the conditions of the information society are a means of teaching any subject of the primary and secondary school curriculum, the literacy of a teacher in this area is a necessary condition for the effective organization of the educational process, including using social networks.

Conclusion. It is concluded that social networks play a positive role when used by teachers in the educational process, provided that users have a sufficient level of digital literacy, so it is necessary to take measures to improve it with future teachers. The digital literacy of a teacher needs to be constantly developed not only in the course of training at a pedagogical university, but in the process of professional activity, that is, in the mode of continuous education and self-education.
