Introduction. The article is devoted to the future foreign language teachers' communicative competence formation by means of signal supports. The purpose of the article is to describe the pedagogical support of signal supports for the formation of the future teachers' communicative competence at a higher level. The use of signal supports will not only intensify the formation of the studied competence, but will also contribute to a more successful entry into professional activity, which will increase the level of resilience of a novice teacher. This will ensure the efficiency of the young teacher's professional activity and make it more productive.
Materials and methods. The main research method is the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature. The mechanism of creating an interactive communicative environment with the help of signal supports in the form of didactic communicative cards is investigated, their efficiency for the formation of communicative competence is determined. The use of signal supports allows you to organize individual, pair and group work effectively. Their multifunctional nature makes it possible to cover a wide range of training of a future specialist — a foreign language teacher.
Results. The results of experimental work in this direction clearly show the continuous growth of the linguistic, socio-cultural and strategic components of communicative competence, which enables future teachers to enter professional activity successfully. The systematic use of signal supports in the form of didactic communicative cards in combination with pedagogical support increases the future teachers' motivation both for learning foreign language and for a more detailed acquaintance with the methodological foundations for introducing language and country studies material.
Discussion. The content analysis of the literature on the problem of the formation of the communicative competence of future teachers showed that in modern pedagogical science this problem is given quite a lot of attention. Most researchers (G.M. Borshchenko, E.F. Gladkaya, Yu.V. Troitskaya and others) consider communicative competence as a condition for success in professional activities. Moreover, an analysis of the literature confirmed that the problem of future teachers' communicative competence's formation in an interactive communicative educational environment has a high potential. It has been established that the results of the practical activities of the authors presented in the article correlate with the methodological positions of scientists and practitioners in the field of modern linguistic education.
Conclusion. The results of work at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the South-Ural State Humanities-Pedagogical University prove the efficiency of future foreign language teachers' communicative competence's formation with the help of signal supports in combination with continuous pedagogical support. The communicative competence formed at the proper level will allow future foreign language teachers to be more successfully realized in pedagogical activity.
