Introduction. The modern concept of higher education in Russia involves the inclusion of natural science disciplines in al-
most all areas of training of students. The formation of a natural science picture of the world has not only a humanitarian aspect, but also allows you to develop the personality of the student, his thinking and creative abilities. The article discusses the idea of changing the educational process of the disciplines of the natural science cycle at the university using productive learning, taking into account the possibilities of the information educational environment.
Materials and Methods. The research data of Russian and foreign specialists in the field of productive pedagogy are analyzed and summarized. Through the assessment of the possibility of including the information educational environment in the educational process, the necessity of using the method of productive learning in the study of natural science disciplines is determined. On the example of the formation of the component of natural science literacy "The ability to make observations" in students, the possibility of changing the methodological training of the future primary school teacher was revealed.
Results. The article provides an analysis of the implementation of the algorithm for the formation of the component of natural science literacy "The ability to conduct observations". It based on the ideas of productive learning in the study of disciplines of the natural science cycle using the capabilities of the information educational environment, presents the results of the diagnosis of professional difficulties of the future teacher.
Discussion. The study by students of school subjects of the natural science cycle (natural science, biology, geography, physics and chemistry) is important in training personnel for the modern economy. Based on the developed algorithm for the formation of the component of natural science literacy "The ability to conduct observations", an assessment of the inclusion of ideas of productive teaching of students using the capabilities of the information educational environment carried out.
Conclusion. The development of natural science literacy by means of productive teaching of the subject through the use of new educational technologies and modern teaching methods is aimed at the formation of such flexible skills and abilities as the ability to independently search for information, be responsible for the amount of work performed, controlling actions at all stages of its work. Also, conduct self-assessment of knowledge and skills, improve their training by using online courses, work in a team, etc. Productive learning in the context of the formation of natural science literacy is a method necessary to improve the educational level of students. This also contributes to the formation of their competence in the field of modern natural sciences and technologies. The results of the survey of students made it possible to identify inconsistencies between the formation of students' natural science literacy and their training at a pedagogical university, to identify key points for its algorithmization.

An algorithm for the formation of the component of natural science literacy "The ability to conduct observations" is proposed, based on the ideas of organizing productive training in natural science disciplines based on the use of the possibilities of the information educational environment;
The assessment of professional difficulties of teachers within the framework of using the algorithm of step-by-step formation of the component of natural science literacy by means of the discipline "Fundamentals of Natural Science and Social Studies" is determined.
