Introduction. The article reveals the problem of searching for forms and methods for the development of engineering education in the master's degree in the field of “Computer Science and robotics in education”. There are certain difficulties in mastering this master's program by students due to different levels of initial training and limited study time.
Materials and methods. Engineering creativity is based on the ability to solve engineering problems, which arise, among other things, when studying robotics. There are such methods of solving engineering problems as the separation of the actual problem from the problem, the search for the optimum, taking into account many limitations, the movement of thought from simple deductive reasoning to more complex ones, the analysis of the problem using computer modeling.
Results. The study presents the specific features of the methodology of teaching engineering. It is necessary to pay attention to motivation as a key engine of undergraduates' education. The gradual transition from simpler to more complex tasks should create a sense of confidence in students. The ability to isolate the actual engineering task from a problematic situation with its limitations and methods of verifying correctness is also an important component of engineering education. To eliminate the randomness factor of the solution found, it is recommended that the teacher organize work with students to explain and summarize the results obtained, discuss possible improvements. The analytical and creative abilities of students are developed by the activity of finding answers to research questions for engineering problems. The article provides examples of some engineering tasks for students of the Master's degree in Computer Science and Robotics in Education and shows how to work with them taking into account the presented approach.
Discussion. The use of robotics, computer modeling systems, 3D modeling and 3D printing in engineering allows not only to solve engineering problems, but also to carry out research and creative activities, improve their own results. The technopark's software and equipment make it possible to do this effectively.
Conclusion. Rethinking the role of the Master's degree in modern Russian education aims to improve the quality of educational programs. In turn, special techniques and equipment of the technopark make it possible to overcome certain difficulties with the initial level of competencies of undergraduates.

The problems of studying in the master's degree have been identified, which, on the one hand, are common and voiced by researchers (lack of study time, different levels of initial training), and on the other hand, are related to the master's program "Computer Science and Robotics in Education" (in particular, the need to motivate students to engineering creativity);
The master's program "Computer Science and Robotics in Education" highlights disciplines aimed at forming an engineering culture, identifies key techniques for working on an engineering task, such as motivation, gradual increase in the complexity of the task, formalization of the task, formulation of research questions to the task, generalization of results, discussion of improvements;
The dynamics of the ability of undergraduates to solve an engineering problem using an algorithm is presented, demonstrating a positive, successful trend when performing the above-mentioned techniques.
