THE STUDY OF CHURCH-STATE RELATIONS IN THE SYSTEM OF PREPARATION OF BACHELORS
Abstracts

Introduction. Spiritual revival of Russia actualized the problem of religious and legal education of the younger generation. The article is aimed at revealing the peculiarities of the method of teaching, which deals with the issues of Church-state relations.

Materials and methods. The sources of the article are collections of published archival materials and legal documents, research of teachers, historians and political scientists. Pedagogical, historical, political and legal approaches allowed to analyze the theme and methodology of the study of Church-state relations in the process of preparing bachelors of political science, pedagogy and history.

Results. The direction of training, the subject of the discipline, the amount of time and features of the methodology of its study determine how the range of problems of Church-state relations will be analyzed. In this case, the teacher can use different forms and methods of lectures and workshops. The most productive is the use of problem-based learning technologies.

Discussion. The problem of Church-state relations is analyzed in detail in the works of modern Russian and foreign scholars. However, the analysis showed that there are not enough educational publications for students of higher educational institutions devoted to the consideration of this problem (although a number of manuals can be identified among the available publications (for example, O. L. Vasilyeva, A. L. Derkach, A. A. Kerimov, etc.)). At the same time, researchers usually pay little attention to the method of conducting classes, which deals with the issues of Church-state relations. With this in mind, the experience presented by the authors can be useful for University teachers and its use can contribute to the development of educational and methodological support of historical, political and religious disciplines.

Conclusion. Stability, peace and harmony in society today largely depend on the state of Church-state relations. The study of the most acute problems caused by the peculiarities of religious processes over the centuries, the change in the role and status of the Church in different countries and the transformation of the models of relations between the authorities and the Church, is designed to ensure that students can acquire a number of General cultural and professional competencies in the development of appropriate educational programs.
