INTERRELATION OF PERSONAL PROPERTIES AND REFLECTION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE FOR-MATION IN STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY
Abstracts

Introduction. The relevance of the development of the skills of pedagogical reflection of future teachers for the formation of professional competences is substantiated, the review of the main ideas of the researchers of reflexion is represented. The purpose of the article is to present the results of an experimental research of the reflexive assessment of students in the formation of professional competencies and interest in the professional activity of the teacher

Materials and methods. We used personal-activity and subject methodological approaches, the test method (16-factor personal questionnaire of Cattell, Form A, 187 questions), questionnaire.

Results. Statistically significant interrelations between the self-assessment of the formation of professional competencies and the personal qualities of students. The psychological portraits of students with different levels of self-assessment of the formation of competences and the expression of interest in the activities of the teacher.

Discussion. The hypothesis of the relationship between the psychic properties of the student’s personality and their reflective assessments of the levels of the formation of professional competencies is confirmed. Students are distinguished by emotional stability, self-confidence, courage, the desire for self-affirmation, independence. Self-confidence, courage, desire for self-affirmation, independence are peculiar to students who assess their level of competence above. Anxiety, emotional imbalance, self-doubt, conformity are expressed in students who assess the level of competence below. The results of the research can be used by university lecturers, psychologists to develop adequate self-esteem of students, and the skills of emotional self-regulation.

Conclusion. The results of the pilot research can be used to improve the process of professional training of future teachers, the development of pedagogical reflection skills of students, their preparation for the passage of pedagogical practice and the final state certification.

• the methods of diagnostics (questioning, testing, questioning) are determined that contribute to the formation of students’ ability to reflectively assess their abilities and readiness to perform pedagogical activity within the framework of professional competences;

• statistically significant interrelations between the self-assessment of the formation of professional competencies and the personal qualities of students are revealed;

• psychological portraits of students with a high and low reflexive assessment of competences formation are compiled
