Introduction. The article substantiates the relevance of revising scientific approaches to the professional training of univer-
sity students in connection with the digital trans-formation of education. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and reveal the author's scientific approach to the professional training of university stu-dents, as well as the pedagogical model for implementing a media-oriented ap-proach to the professional training of future specialists in the educational space of the university in the context of the digital transformation of education.
Materials and methods. The main research methods are the analysis of scientific literature, which outlines scientific approaches to the training of future specialists in the context of digitali-zation of the educational paradigm; questioning, criterion-oriented testing, meth-ods of mathematical processing of results.
Results. A new aspect of the problem field related to the professional training of students in the digital transformation of education has been substantiated and disclosed, a pedagogical model for implementing a media-oriented approach to the profes-sional training of students in the digital educational space of a modern university has been developed; the author noted the possibility of scientific forecasting and research of the conditions that have the greatest impact on the readiness of stu-dents for future professional activities.
Discussion. It is emphasized that for the professional training of students of a new formation, it is no longer enough just to master information and communication technolo-gies: it is necessary to create conditions that have the greatest impact on the read-iness of students for professional activities. Pedagogical conditions are presented as such requirements, connected, firstly, with the creation of a psychologically comfortable educational environment. Secondly, with the creation of a favorable atmosphere aimed at the research activities of students, creative and productive work in microgroups. Thirdly, the practical possibility of implementing the knowledge, practical skills, competencies that are formed in students in the course of mastering the educational integrated course studied by students as part of the main professional educational program.
Conclusion. It is concluded that the contradiction that has arisen between the growing need of society for specialists capable of realizing their professional activities in a digital society, and the imperfection of the process of their preparation in the context of the digital transformation of education, has led to the need to revise scientific ap-proaches to the organization of educational space. university. It is emphasized that the innovative approach presented in the article opens up the prospects for modeling various learning processes. It is noted that this contributes to building individual educational trajectories, forecasting and managing work with students. The prospects of mathematical modeling of educational processes are opened, taking into account the influence of external and internal factors that affect the motivation and cognitive activity of university students.
