PEDAGOGICAL GROUNDS FOR DESIGNING PROGRAMS OF PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF STUDENTS
Abstracts

Introduction. The article is devoted to determining the grounds for designing programs of patriotic education of students based on the analysis of the results of modern sociological studies of Russian identity, state documents and educational programs in educational organizations, identifying their capabilities and preventing emerging risks.

Materials and methods. Along with scientific literature, the sources of the research are state documents defining the guidelines for the upbringing of the younger generation, and educational programs of educational organizations in Chelyabinsk. The theoretical provisions given in the article are based on the following research methods: theoretical analysis, content analysis, survey method.

Results. The tendency is revealed in the presentation in state documents of the results of patriotic education not in qualitative (essential), but in quantitative terms. The risk of not achieving such a result of patriotic education as the acceptance of patriotism as a value is determined. The grounds for designing programs of patriotic education of students are proposed. The findings presented in the study may be of interest to developers and organizers of patriotic educational programs.

Discussion. The results of the study are consistent with the conclusions of sociological studies on the formation of Russian civic identity among modern youth. Based on them, we have determined the basis for designing programs of patriotic education of students.

Conclusion. The practice of designing programs for patriotic education of students has a number of disadvantages that cause threats and risks. Some design bases that ensure the prevention of these risks in the process and results of the formation of the Russian civil identity are identified and formulated.
