PREPARATION OF FUTURE EMPLOYEES OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION FOR HEALTH-IMPROVING WORK WITH CHILDREN
Abstracts

Introduction. In the modern realities of the deterioration of medico-demographic indicators and environmental conditions, it is necessary to transform priorities in relation to human health. The educational strategy of solving this problem is connected with rethinking the importance of a healthy lifestyle and increasing the health rating in the system of fundamental values among students of a pedagogical university, especially in the context of a future profession. The value of health-saving measures in a preschool educational organization will depend on this, one of the important components of which is the formation of healthy lifestyle skills in children. The article discusses the results of a research aimed at studying the motivational attitudes of students — future teachers in relation to a healthy lifestyle, as well as the impact of modern approaches and methods on changing the vector of their development in accordance with the acquisition of new health-saving technologies.

Materials and methods. When organizing the study, a set of general theoretical, empirical and interpretative methods was realized: analysis of scientific, methodological and regulatory and legal sources; conversation; questionnaire; R. A. Berezovskaya's methodology “Attitude to health”; quantitative and qualitative analysis. The study involved students of 1–4 courses of the faculty of preschool education in the number of 59 people.

Results. The process of forming the personal culture of students' health, their professional competence in the organization of health-saving education is aimed at changing the attitude of students to health from the formal: the absence of bad habits and diseases to the attitude as a way of life and universal value. The study by students of disciplines aimed at revealing the theoretical and practical aspects of the organization of health-saving education allows them to form a list of relevant professional competencies aimed at forming a value attitude to their own health and the formation of this value in the younger generation.

Discussion. The work carried out by the authors on the formation of students' ideas about health-saving activities in education, their attitude to their own health and the health of others showed its effectiveness, and also confirmed the expediency and adequacy of the presented material, the logic of building the educational process within the framework of the implemented educational programs.

Conclusion. The results of the study allowed the authors to conclude that the attitude of students to health as a universal value includes not only motivation for a healthy lifestyle, but also an increase in the rating of “health” in the general system of ideals. The formation of students' professional competence in the field of health-saving activities is aimed at mastering modern wellness technologies and their practical application in the educational process.
