MODERN DIRECTIONS OF TRAINING FUTURE TEACHERS FOR PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF YOUNGER SCHOOLCHILDREN
Abstracts

Introduction. The article presents the authors' views on the problem of existing risks in patriotic education and ways of leveling them. The purpose of the article is to determine the directions of training future teachers to implement the tasks of patriotic education of younger schoolchildren.

Materials and methods. The study used the method of analyzing psychological and pedagogical literature (in The main research methods are the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem of patriotic education and the survey method, which allows determining the formation of a patriotic position among future teachers. The interpretation of the obtained research results was carried out by methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Results. The article deals with the problem of training future teachers to implement the tasks of patriotic education. Minor changes in the patriotic position of students over three years of study at the university have been identified, which are expressed in an increase in their level of formation of civic identity. The directions of training future teachers for patriotic education of younger schoolchildren, taking into account existing risks, are revealed.

Discussion. Active formation of the patriotic position of students should be carried out from the first year of study at the university by involving them in systematic, systematic educational activities based on freedom of choice. Psychological and pedagogical disciplines studied in 3-5 courses (“Technology and organization of educational practices (classroom management)”, “Pedagogical technologies in primary school”, etc.) can become a platform for the formation of future teachers' ability to level the existing risks in patriotic education.

Conclusion. The formation of patriotic consciousness in children and youth is a priority task of Russian education, the solution of which depends on the degree of readiness of teachers to implement patriotic education in school. One of the key competencies of teachers is the ability to level the risks accompanying this process. The result of the study was the directions of training of future teachers described by us for the implementation of the tasks of patriotic education in primary school, taking into account the identified risks.
