THE EMOTIONAL COMPONENT AS ONE OF THE MAIN INDICATORS OF A WOMAN’S PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING DURING PREGNANCY
Abstracts

Introduction. This article presents the results of the analysis of the emotional component of the psychological well-being of women during pregnancy, as well as an extensive systematization of scientific concepts and approaches to the study of this phenomenon. The purpose of the article is to investigate the emotional component as one of the key criteria for assessing the psychological state of pregnant women, to assess the importance of psychological control of the emotional component, and the possibility of using the emotional component as one of the integral indicators of the overall level of psychoemotional health of the individual.

Materials and methods. Thus, the subject of the study was the emotional component in the context of the psychological state of pregnant women, which was indicated in a number of scientific papers considered in this article, while the author was aimed at determining the place of this factor in the structure of the psycho-emotional state of a pregnant woman, based on the premise that the emotional component is one of the key factors in the formation of psychological the well–being of expectant mothers, as well as one of the aspects that should be given special attention – both to women themselves and medical professionals – during pregnancy.

Results. After analyzing and studying the results of the articles, the emotional component was concluded to be one of the key factors shaping the psychological well-being and condition of pregnant women. Thus, according to the study, this criterion can be used to assess the level of psychological well-being of pregnant women. Also, in conclusion of the paper, the importance of the level of psychological well-being control during pregnancy was determined to ensure a stable psycho-emotional state of such individuals.

Discussion. The scientific novelty of the study is that as a result of the analysis of relevant scientific materials and concepts, the role of the emotional component in the structure of the psychological state of pregnant women was concretized, which gave rise to some assumptions and recommendations regarding pregnancy management. Also, based on the analysis of a number of studies, the relationship between the emotional background and the psychological health of a woman was demonstrated.

Conclusion. At the end of the article, partial recommendations were given for clinical specialists on taking into account the emotional factor as a component of the psychological well-being of expectant mothers during pregnancy, as well as further prospects for research in this field of psychology were identified and specific topics for further analysis were outlined.
