Introduction. The article considers the problem of communicative behavior of a person in the Internet space. The author proposes an analysis of the results of an empirical study of cognitive and communicative attitudes, self-presentation, and motivational orientations of the Internet user's personality as components of communicative behavior. A statistically confirmed typology of Internet communications is proposed.
Materials and methods. The main research methods are the analysis of the literature on the research issues; author's research questionnaire; methodology for diagnosing irrational attitudes (A. Ellis); self-presentation tactics measurement scale (S. Lee, B. Quigley); methodology for diagnosing motivational orientations in interpersonal communications (I.D. Ladanov, V.A. Urazaeva); method of diagnosing the type of communicative installation (V. V. Boyko).
Results. In the course of the study, reliable results of the study of the communicative behavior of Internet users were obtained. It was revealed that the communicative behavior of a person is influenced by the cognitive-affective component (the presence of irrational attitudes); conative component (features of self-presentation tactics). The author noted that the structure of communicative behavior can include a motivational component (motivational orientation in interpersonal communications) and a communicative component (the presence of communicative attitudes).
Discussion. The results of the study of aggressive behavior in the Internet space made it possible to identify the types of virtual communicators and study the relationship between their psychological characteristics. There is a relationship between the orientation towards the acceptance of a partner and hindering oneself; open cruelty and negative evaluation of others; harmony of communication orientations and justification with the denial of responsibility. The results obtained significantly expand the understanding of the communicative behavior of the individual.
Conclusion. A typology of online communicators has been revealed, which includes indicators of cognitive and communicative attitudes, self-presentation, and motivational orientations of a person. Based on the presence and severity of these parameters, the communicative behavior of a person in the Internet space may have its own specifics. The study assumed that communicative behavior could be destructive or constructive.
