THE CLUSTER METHOD IN STAGE BALLROOM DANCING
Abstracts

Introduction. The relevance of the problem of using an educational cluster for stage ballroom dancing is beyond doubt. The article notes the insufficient attention of educational practice to the tasks of forming motor, technical and artistic skills in stage ballroom dancing. The main purpose of using the cluster method is to form the technique of performing movements and variations in ballroom choreography, expressed in the ability to perform difficult technical elements, as well as the development of acting skills for emotionality and expressiveness in the work on creating a stage ballroom dance.

Materials and methods. Analysis of scientific, methodological literature and special literature in the field of choreographic and theatrical art, research by authors engaged in the study of complex coordinated sports to study the problem of using the cluster method in stage ballroom dancing, generalization, systematization. Such definitions as “stage ballroom dance”, “technical training”, “artistic training” and the possibilities of their effective use in the educational process in the ballroom dance team are considered and analyzed.

Results. It is argued that the scenic forms of ballroom choreography allow to reveal the potential of a dancer, his colorfulness and aesthetics expressed in dance composition, his development in various types of art. Stage ballroom dance is a vivid example of the fusion of musical, choreographic, dramatic art and painting. It provides an opportunity to create visual images, forming the visual culture of the viewer, having a positive impact on the inner world of the individual in the face of the aggressive impact of modern video and audio content. The use of the cluster method, in which there are no boundaries between types of activities, makes it possible to systematize exercises for the formation of motor, technical and artistic skills of dancers in stage ballroom dancing. At the same time, the forms of activity in the field of performing arts are considered in internal relationships that contribute to the activation of the formation and development of acting skills and technical skills of ballroom dance performers.

Discussion. It is emphasized that in modern conditions, dance groups have a huge potential to influence the formation and development of human culture, creating a specific educational environment that develops the moral, spiritual, artistic, aesthetic and creative qualities of students. Dance art and the art of theater are definitives that have identical tasks: to influence the viewer through the visualization of an idea laid down by a director or choreographer, to evoke a spiritual response, empathy, and the desire for self–improvement. Dance activity is not only the mastering of the technique of performing movements and variations of ballroom dance, but also the introduction to the eternal values of all types of art, which is facilitated by the use of the cluster method.

Conclusion. It is concluded that the use of the developed cluster of exercise complexes for the formation of technical and acting skills provides dancers with opportunities to master technical skills, features of performing figures and variations in specific ballroom dances. Scenic ballroom dance is interesting for unlimited possibilities of plastic improvisation, self-improvement in the field of choreographic art and in the spiritual sphere.
