Introduction. The article studies the problem of formation of information and communication culture of teachers of educational organizations to ensure the quality of the educational process. Information and communication culture is considered in the aggregate of components on the basis of the relationship between theory and practice at the level of solving pedagogical problems.
Materials and methods.The main research methods are the analysis of scientific lite- r ature devoted to the problem of the formation of an information culture of teachers, the in
formatization of education and the formation of an electronic information educational envi- ronment; as well as diagnostic methods, including observation, description, interview, questioning, testing, methods of statistical data processing.
Results.The basis of the content of each component of the information and communication culture of the teacher, we have identified the main constructs:
- motivational and value component;
- emotional and psychological component;
- design and technological component;
- component of methodical reflection;
- creative activity component.
Discussion.It is emphasized that the project performance is the presentation of guidelines for the interpretation of components of the teacher’s information and communication culture.
Conclusion. It is concluded that the basis of the content of information and communication culture of the teacher should be present components highlighted in the work.

The unity of pedagogical science and practice, specifically manifested, in our opinion, is that:
1) They both realize the same social function - the function of preparing students for active participation in the life of the modern information and communication society.
2) Science itself, as a special process of cognition, is considered in the aspect of students' cognitive activity.
