FORMATION OF MOTIVATION FOR A HEALTHY LIFE-STYLE AMONG STU-DENTS (USING THE EXAMPLE OF THE COURSE “FUNDAMENTALS OF MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE AND A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE”)
Abstracts

Introduction. The preservation and strengthening of the health of young people studying is one of the priorities of the national scale. Of course, the lifestyle of young people studying is closely intertwined with the individual level of health, quality and lifestyle of students, therefore, only conscious, active activity of young people with a conscious motivational attitude aimed at preserving and strengthening their own health throughout their later life, as well as new motivations for a healthy lifestyle play a crucial role in the prevention of diseases and strengthening the health of young people studying. In this regard, the problem of preserving the health of young people studying becomes urgent. One of the ways to solve this problem is the possibility of forming students' motivation for a healthy lifestyle within the framework of the discipline being read. The purpose of the article is to form motivation for a healthy lifestyle of young people studying within the framework of the discipline “Fundamentals of medical knowledge and a healthy lifestyle”.

Materials and methods. The main method that was used in the research process is the analysis of psychological, pedagogical, biomedical, scientific and methodological literature on the problem of research, as well as the existing practical experience in preparing future teachers for health-saving activities. As empirical methods, we used questionnaires, observation, and analysis of the results of practical activities of students of the South-Ural State Humanities-Pedagogical University, mastering the discipline “Fundamentals of medical knowledge and a healthy lifestyle”. As part of the course “Fundamentals of medical knowledge and a healthy lifestyle”, we conducted a survey of first-year students of the Faculty of Primary school teachers. 37 female people took part in the survey, and they were also offered an express test to determine the level of health according to Ivanchenko.

Results. The conducted research allowed us to substantiate the possibility of forming motivation for a healthy lifestyle among students within the framework of the discipline “Fundamentals of medical knowledge and a healthy lifestyle” by using a test to determine the level of health, questionnaire questions, which we consider one of the criteria for assessing the adaptive capabilities of the students' body and assessing their level of health. The questionnaire questions and Ivanchenko's rapid test proposed by us, in our opinion, is one of the methodological approaches to solving an important state task of preserving the health of young people studying. Both the test itself and the questionnaire questions we are interested in are simple to perform, very informative, take little time, and the analysis of the questionnaire and test data provides fairly objective information about health.

Discussion. The results of the diagnostic work are presented, indicating the success of the work carried out to form motivation for a healthy lifestyle among students within the framework of the discipline being read.

Conclusion. The process of forming students' motivation for a healthy lifestyle within the framework of the discipline “Fundamentals of medical knowledge and a healthy lifestyle” will be effective if: the backbone factor of this process will be the desire and willingness of students themselves to lead a healthy lifestyle, as well as students will learn how to assess their own level of health. The level of health should be determined twice a year.
