Introduction. The article defines the importance of higher education as a factor of socio-economic development of society, identifies the demand of the state in terms of training specialists in the field of pedagogy. The content of the peculiarities of learning material assimilation by students and the content of the system of work on mastering professional competencies by future elementary school teachers is also revealed. In addition, the introduction of the demonstration exam into the content of the educational process as a system of control and evaluation of the achieved professional competencies of future elementary school teachers is justified. The analysis of the strategy of realization of individual elements and planned results, the allocation of the system of principal stages in terms of realization of the system of assessment of future elementary school teachers with the subsequent development of the model of preparation and conduct of the demonstration examination was carried out.
Materials and methods. When working on the article, the main components of the educational model structure, the content of the research model scheme are highlighted, the aspects to be taken into account in its construction are determined. The principles and components, as well as the stages of research work in the construction of the model (preparatory-informational, analytical, creative, research) are highlighted. The difficulties that may arise when creating a model for preparing and conducting a demonstration exam in terms of disciplines of the methodological block are identified.
Results. As the results, it is outlined what purposeful work should be organized in the implementation of the model of preparation and conduct of the demonstration exam in the part of disciplines of the methodological block. The essence of the content of the theoretical and methodological basis within the research is also revealed, namely the idea of the unity of transformative learning process and fundamental provisions (identification of the main link in the research activity through the consideration of the main actions and operations). The content of illustrative, translational and explanatory functions in the content of the model of the system of preparation and conduct of the demonstration exam is described.
Discussion. In the part of the discussion of the content of the research work the scheme of the model of the system of preparation and conduct of the demonstration exam in terms of disciplines of the methodological block is presented. It consists of the regulatory and legal basis, which is the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation17.11.2017 №. 1138 “On Amendments to the Procedure for State Final Attestation on Educational Programs of Secondary Vocational Education» and the Federal Project «Professionalism”. The goal of the model implementation is also outlined, as which the organization of the process of mastering by the participants of educational relations of the activity of preparing and conducting the demonstration exam is presented. The theoretical and methodological basis, the content of the teacher's work and the technological component (functions, stages, forms and methods) are also emphasized. The planned result is an increase in the level of professional competencies of future elementary school teachers.
Conclusion. The role of demonstration examination as a form of independent assessment of students' professional competencies in the field of disciplines of methodological block is substantiated. It also describes the main indicators of professional skills of a future elementary school teacher, the formation, development and presentation of which is possible when implementing a new form of the system of control and evaluation of professional competencies. The positive aspects of implementation of the demonstration exam in the educational process are highlighted, for example, training students to organize and support collective dialogue in the process of demonstrating a fragment of a lesson, as it is one of the most complex components of teacher's activity. All this contributes to the qualitative transformation of the personality of a future elementary school teacher.
