THE HEALTH-SAVING ORIENTATION OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TOOLS IN THE COMPLEX CORREC-TION OF MUSCLE IMBALANCE IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Abstracts

Introduction. The article presents a theoretical justification and the development of new approaches to the comprehensive correction of postural disorders in second-year university students by means of health-saving physical education. The need to improve the rehabilitation system for students with impaired posture is among the urgent problems of pedagogy, psychology, age physiology, and medicine. The widespread muscular imbalance among modern students and the associated decrease in their functional state certainly affects the quality of the educational process and causes deviations in statokinetics and locomotion (balance and orientation in space are disturbed). Therefore, the use of physical culture products (physical therapy according to the classical scheme; corrective physical exercises aimed at training statokinetics; massage with a warming gel containing an active toning complex) in the complex correction of posture is an urgent task of successful university studies with maximum preservation of the health of the student population, which requires its solution in the context of special research.

Materials and Methods. The study uses a method of analyzing psychological, pedagogical, pedagogical, physiological, and medical scientific literature on the problems of posture disorders and its correction. The theoretical part of the scientific research was carried out using the methodology of a systematic approach based on the assessment of vestibular function. Pedagogical observation, conversation, testing, methods of statistical processing of the obtained results were used. The article contains a summary of the authors' own pedagogical experience as teachers at a pedagogical university.

Results. It has been established that the use of a warming gel for body massage in combination with traditional methods of complex correction of muscle imbalance helps to improve the functional state of the body and increases the social adaptation of people with impaired posture. It is shown that as a result of using the warming gel, balance indicators are improved and the vestibular reserve increases, which has a positive effect on the quality of the educational process. In the course of the study, the health-saving orientation of physical education tools in the complex correction of postural disorders in students was confirmed.

Discussion. The object of our study was second-year female students with muscle imbalance aged 18-19 years. Muscle imbalance is accompanied by shortening of some muscles and relaxation of others during the formation of a motor stereotype, which leads to impaired posture in various planes. The violation of the posture of female students is significantly influenced by adverse environmental factors, especially during the student period. These include significant emotional, physical, mental, and intellectual stress, prolonged adherence to forced postures, physical inactivity in some and hyperkinesia in others, environmental factors, eating conditions, living conditions, etc., which affect the functional state of female students. Recently, there has been an increasing interest in non-medicinal methods of correcting deviations in statokinetics and locomotion, as it does not cause pathological symptoms, does not reduce the influence of emotional and volitional spheres, unlike pharmacological drugs. These circumstances have motivated us to search for new approaches to improve the rehabilitation system for young people with impaired posture, aimed at maximizing the correction of the musculoskeletal system.

Conclusion. The article focuses on the importance and necessity of comprehensive correction of students with dysfunctions of psychomotor development by means of physical culture of a health-saving orientation and with the subsequent adaptation of such students to the educational process at the university.

Highlights

The following are analyzed: the warming effect of camphor and menthol; the toning effect of tea tree oil and eucalyptus based on the mechanism of action and evidence-based usefulness;

The expediency and effectiveness of using a warming gel for body massage in the complex correction of the functional state of female students with muscle imbalance by means of physical culture of a health-saving orientation in the framework of the educational process of the university is shown.
