PEDAGOGICAL FEATURES OF THE USE OF TEXTS OF THE NEW NATURE IN WORK WITH LOW-MOTIVATED AND WEAK READING SCHOOLCHILDREN
Abstracts

Introduction. Reduced quality and literacy, the vital value of reading have a negative impact on the quality of education. These phenomena are complemented by problems associated with low concentration of attention, mosaic thinking of the younger generation. As a result of these phenomena, there is an insufficient mastery of reading skills in a significant number of children with intellect, sight and hearing, and intact speech. The purpose of this work is to present

theoretical and practical data of the use of the new nature texts to overcome difficulties in teaching schoolchildren to read.

Materials and methods. The main research methods are the analysis of the scientific literature devoted to the issues of teaching reading of low-motivated and weak reading schoolchildren; implementation of the ideas of using the texts of the new nature in the curricular and extracurricular activities of the educational organization; generalization of practical experience with texts presented in printed and electronic form.

Results. The features of texts of new nature that correspond to the schoolchildren' mosaic thinking are highlighted: compressed text volume with increased information load; duplication of different sign systems; elements of interactivity and feedback. These features of the texts allow to develop attention, speech, thinking of schoolchildren, necessary for mastering the complex processes of reading. A review of these texts and a list of ways to use them in working with low-motivated and weak reading schoolchildren are presented.

Discussion. The authors focus on the use of texts of new nature. They have a high emotional impact on the personality of schoolchildren and contribute to improving the quality of reading, first of all, among low-motivated and weak reading schoolchildren.

Conclusion. It is shown that the use of texts of new nature in work with low-motivated and weak reading schoolchildren allows you to form cognitive activity, the ability to read and think, read and feel, sustained interest in the educational content of the text.
