THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF PROBLEMS OF FORMATION OF LEGAL SKILLS OF CHILDREN OF SENIOR PRESCHOOL AGE
Abstracts

Introduction. The article substantiates the relevance of the formation of legal skills of children of preschool age in terms of changing the goals and paradigm of domestic pre-school education; provides an overview of the main ideas of modern researchers on the problem of legal education and training of children, reveals the historiography of the problem, develops the conceptual apparatus and the main theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of legal skills of children of preschool age.  The purpose of the article is to substantiate and to reveal the author's concept of the effective organization of work with children of preschool age on the formation of their legal skills.

Materials and methods. The main methods of research are the analysis of scientific literature on the problem of legal education and training of children, the formation of their legal skills; as well as diagnostic techniques, including observation, description, conversation, methods of statistical data processing.

Results. Theoretical aspects of formation of legal skills of children of the senior preschool age are revealed, the innovative functional theoretical and methodological basis promoting creation of conditions for successful process of formation of legal skills of chil

 

dren is designated; the effective theoretical and methodological approaches promoting legal education of children are revealed and described.

Discussion. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of the project is the formation of sustainable legal skills in children of preschool age.

Conclusion. The state of the problem of formation of children's legal skills in psychological and pedagogical literature is analyzed and its relevance is substantiated; the nature and specificity of the concepts of "legal education", "legal skills" and their structure, "formation of legal skills" of children of preschool age are revealed; the main methodological approaches for solving this issue are defined.
