THE FORMATION OF PREPAREDNESS OF STUDENTS PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITIES TO WORK WITH THE MEDIA
Abstracts

Introduction. The article analyzes the theoretical approaches and practice of preparing students of pedagogical universities to work with the media in order to form an effective trajectory of socialization of modern youth. The technology for creating effective organizational and pedagogical conditions in the system of training students of pedagogical universities to work with the media is described on the basis of newspaper periodicals. The specificity of empirical testing of technology and the conditions for its effectiveness in the system of training students of pedagogical universities has been revealed.

Materials and methods. The article was prepared on the basis of an analysis of scientific literature and a complex of documentary sources: legal, archival, statistical materials and period-icals on the problem, analysis of global challenges of our time in the context of the growing impact of mass communication on the formation of worldviews, val-ue orientation of young people, experimental activities.

Results. The efficiency of using the technology of project activity in the process of prepar-ing students of pedagogical universities for working with the media, focused on expanding the educational space of the university, allowing the formation of me-ta-subject competencies of students, has been revealed.

Discussion. We consider the purposeful formation of the readiness of students of pedagogical universities to work with the media as a factor in the successful formation of competencies aimed at managing the trajectory of socialization of modern youth. An effective means of achieving the goal is their mastery of the technology of the project-based learning method, focused on the formation of meta-competencies, independent acquisition of new knowledge and critical understanding of the re-sults achieved.

Conclusion. It is concluded that the formation of the readiness of students of pedagogical uni-versities to work with the media is achieved in the process of mastering the basic educational prog-rams and requires the creation of the necessary organizational and psychological-pedagogical conditions in a particular university.

Described the problem of forming the readiness of future teachers to work with the media, which is necessary for the formation of an effective trajectory of socialization of modern youth;

Formulated the structure and content of the project activities of students with the media based on work with newspaper periodicals.
