Introduction. The article presents the results of a study of the preventive activities of departments for juvenile affairs.
The purpose of the article is to present the results of a study on the state of preventive activities of juvenile affairs departments, tasks that require resolution, and to suggest ways to solve problems related to the difficulties of the PD inspector in working with registered adolescents (modeling of pedagogical support).
Materials and methods. The main diagnostic method of the
study was the questionnaire survey and the method of statistical data processing.
Results. After the study, the following were determined: the pe-
dagogical portrait of a registered teenager; the portrait of a juvenile affairs inspector (PD inspector); the cognitive and activity-practical levels of a PD inspector. The model of pedagogical support of the teenager who is on the preventive account is deve-loped.
Discussion. It is emphasized that it is the model of pedagogical support of adolescents registered in the departments of juvenile affairs that will lead to a change in the destructive behavior of minors and increase the number of those removed from the register for correction.
Conclusion. It is concluded that the implementation of the model of pedagogical support of a teenager registered in the department of juvenile Affairs contributes to changing the deviant behavior of a teenager in the direction of law-abiding.
