PEDAGOGICAL STIMULATION AS A FUNCTION OF MANAGING THE CREATIVE SELF-DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE LIBRARIANS
Abstracts

Introduction. There is the need for creative education to prepare the creative personality of a librarian who is capable of constant self-development presented   in the article. The results of the study of the need for self-development of students of the first courses of the Faculty of Documentary Communications and Tourism, the Department of Library and Information Activities of the Chelyabinsk State Institute of Culture are presented.

Pedagogical stimulation in the context of creative education is considered as a function of managing the creative self-development of students. The purpose of the article is to justify the need to use in modern conditions of creative education various types of pedagogical stimulation (informational, organizational, managеment, emotional, moral, material) to form the creative self-developing personality of the librarian.

Materials and methods. The main methods of research are the analysis of scientific literature devoted to the problem of pedagogical stimulation of the need for creative self-development of students. The study involves the use of testing using the method of L.N. Berezhnova “Diagnosis of the level of self-development and professional pedagogical activity”, statistical processing methods.

Results. Studies confirmed the hypothesis that the level of need for self-development of first-year students is medium and lower than average. There are described types of pedagogical stimulation, systematic using is directed at management of creative self-development of students.

Discussion. The level of need for the creative self-development of future librarians can be increased if you use various types of pedagogical incentives (information-content, organi-zational, managementl, emotional, moral, material).

Conclusion. The theoretical research let to identify and justify the relationship between the need for creative self-development of future librarians with the peculiarities of creative education, using various types of pedagogical incentives.

An empirical study confirmed the assumption that the level of self-development needs of future librarians in the educational environment of the university is medium and below average and requires the systematic use of various types of pedagogical incentives.
