USING QUEST TECHNOLOGIES AT THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS IN THE SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION
Abstracts

Introduction. The article deals with the topical issue of planning the English language lesson using quest technologies at higher schools. It is given the researchers’ ideas on this problem. These ideas are the following: the climate at the lesson of the English language, team work, breaking of the language barrier. The aim of the article is to describe the effectiveness of using game-quests by educating future teachers of the English language.

Materials and methods. The main method is the analysis of the scientific literature concerning the techniques of teaching the English language at a higher pedagogical school. The other method is the observing the behavior of students during English language lessons.

Results. It is worked out the game-quest in the English language and stated the recommendations for teachers how to effectively give the lesson at a higher pedagogical school using this technology.

Discussion. The effectiveness of using game-quests depends on the correspondence of the material to the level of students’ language training and on the objectives that are set by the teacher.

Conclusion. It is concluded that skillful planning of the English language lesson at a higher school using gamification and taking into consideration the interests of most students leads to successful and motivating further learning process.
