DIRECTIONS OF PEDAGOGUE-PSYCHOLOGIST'S ACTIVITY ON COMPUTER ADDICTION PREVENTION OF PRIMARY SCHOOLCHILDREN
Abstracts

Introduction. The article is devoted to the problem of prevention of such type of addictive behavior as computer addiction. The directions of activity of the teacher-psychologist on prevention of formation of dependence on virtual reality of the computer are considered. The article presents the results of studying the level of formation of propensity to computer addiction of primary school children, obtained by the study of 60 primary school students. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and reveal the author's concept of effective organization of work of the teacher – psychologist on prevention of computer addiction in children of primary school age.

Materials and methods. The main methods of research are the analysis of psychological, pedagogical and medical (clinical) literature on the problem of computer addiction; methods of diagnosis, including testing of children with the help of the method "the questionnaire addressed to the younger schoolboy" S. kotovoi". Questionnaire to identify the level of competence of teachers on the prevention of computer addiction in primary school children.

Results. Identified areas of activity of the psychologist in the prevention of computer addiction in younger students analyzed the empirical data of the study of the level of propensity to dependent behavior associated with the use of a computer.

Discussion. The results of the study the tendency to the formation of computer addiction among primary school  pupils. The dynamics  of  formation of  the  tendency  to  dependent

behavior among students of the third and fourth grades is revealed. The study of the competence of primary school teachers on the prevention of computer addiction.


Conclusion. There are significant differences in the level of risk of  computer  addiction among students in the third and fourth grades of primary school. It is necessary to expand the range of forms and methods of preventive work of primary school teachers.

Highlights

- the problem of prevention of computer addiction and determine the directions of activity of the teacher for prevention of dependence on virtual reality computer is relevant for elementary school;

- according to the results of the study revealed that there is no tendency to the formation of computer addiction in 63.33% of primary school students, 20% of whom are at the stage of transition to the "risk zone"; 16.67% of primary school students were diagnosed with the risk of formation of dependent behavior associated with the use of a computer;

- at the statistical level, significant differences in the level of computer addiction among third and fourth grade students were revealed.
