THE INFLUENCE OF THE QUALITY OF MARITAL RELATIONS AT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF FEMALE TEACHER
Abstracts

Introduction. The article presents original results of the research of female teachers regarding the dependence of their relationships with spouses and professional activities. The direct correlation has been established between problems arising in the professional sphere and dissatisfaction in general with marital relations in the families of female teachers. The purpose of the article is to identify the influence of the quality of marital relations at the effectiveness of the professional activities of female teachers.

Materials and methods. The 162 female teachers, who were the students of advanced refresher courses, took part in the study. In the implementation of this research, an analysis of the scientific literature devoted to the problem of the influence of the quality of marital relations on the effectiveness of the professional work of female teachers, as well as diagnostic methods – test «Dealing with emotions», «Determination of the degree depending on the job» was conducted and statistical treatment of the data was performed.


Results. The research found that despite of in their own opinion the majority of respondents receive support from the husband to varying degrees (74 %) and their husbands show tenderness towards them, but 40,7 % of respondents consider their husband as a «Good friend» under any circumstances. It was established that one of the main motive of marriage is love, although inherent the need for intimate and emotional communication is inherent to this, which means trusting your emotional state of mind to your spouse. In the same time it was established that some teachers are not supported by their husbands. The option «never» shows a complete lack of support and assistance, however 5,6 % of the total number of respondents can't call your spouse a «Good friend». The «Determining the degree of dependence on work» test results showed that 38,9 % of teachers demonstrate problems at work requiring serious consideration or they are at risk.

Discussion. The presented comparative analysis of the diagnostic results showed that 72 % of respondents need to reconsider their relationship with their spouses to save marriage. The quality of their professional activity is directly depends on the their well-being in family life.

Conclusion. It is concluded that professional success of female teachers is depends on the degree of their well-being in the marital relationship.
