GRAPHIC TABLET AS A MEANS OF TRAINING CHILDREN OF SENIOR PRESCHOOL AGE
Abstracts

Introduction. The article examines the problem of using a graphic tablet as an effective means of teaching children of senior preschool age, affecting the intellectual development and readiness of teaching a child at school. Psychological and pedagogical features of mastering and using a graphic tablet in the educational process of OED are revealed. They are connected with the development of practical intellectual activity of children on the basis of obtaining structured cognitive information. Summarizes the results of experimental studies conducted in the OEE of Chelyabinsk on the use of a graphic tablet in the process of mastering the older preschool children of interactive exercise games, game creative tasks and drawings-experiments.

Materials and methods.The main research methods are the analysis of scientific psychological and pedagogical literature, drawing psychodiagnostic and projective methods, the method of pedagogical observation, the method of studying the products of activity and experimental research.

Results.The process of mastering a graphic tablet is considered as the implementation of modern interactive learning technology based on the transition from reproductive and visual-illustrative to heuristic methods through drawing and playing activities of children.

Discussion.It is emphasized that the effectiveness of mastering a graphic tablet by older children of preschool age based on the use of games-exercises, game creative tasks, drawings-experiments is an independent solution of creative tasks and the child’s creation of “projective drawings” as a reflection of his individual psychological properties, attitude to the world and self-expression in the works.

Conclusion. It is concluded that learning of older preschool children on a graphic tablet proceeds as interactive when the child is purposefully involved by the teacher in the process of learning and activity –


this provides the child with ample opportunities for exciting creative activities and focuses him on the formation of readiness for the rapidly changing conditions of modern development information society.

Highlights

A graphic tablet used in the learning process is considered as a mo- dern interactive technology that qualitatively changes the content of preschool education, enriches the knowledge and ideas of the older preschool children about the world around them and contributes to the emergence of new forms of intellectual activity.
