PSYCHOLOGY AND PEDAGOGICAL EMPATHY DEVELOPMENT AMONG CHILDREN OF THE PRESCHOOL AGE
Abstracts

Introduction. There is the problem between effective psychology definition and pedagogical conditions of empathy development among children of the senior preschool age. This problem is analyzed and the specifics of their implementation in practical work of the preschool educational organizations are described.

Materials and methods. The main methods of the research are the analysis of the educational standard of preschool education and

 

the scientific literature devoted to a problem of emotional formation and moral culture, emotional intelligence and forming of empathic manifestations of children of the senior preschool age. There are also the diagnostic techniques including observation, conversation, questioning, the analysis of results of activity, methods of statistical data processing.

Results. Age features of empathy manifestation are studied by children of senior age, the entity of an empathy concept is specified. Psychology and pedagogical conditions of empathy development among pupils of kindergarten are theoretically proved and implemented in practice of pre-school educational institution. Informative and procedural components of empathy development (emotional, cognitive, and behavioral) and the indicators of empathy development among children of the senior preschool age corresponding to each level are revealed in this article. The author describes the effective methodical working methods on empathy development among senior preschool children in the conditions of the preschool educational environment.

Discussion. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of the project is promoted by systematic and longer psychology and pedagogical and methodical work in specially created conditions of the preschool educational organization and family.

Conclusion. The conclusion is the following: creation of effective psychology and pedagogical conditions and implementation of effective methodical receptions will contribute to the development of the empathic identity of the preschool child and his emotional intelligence formation in modern conditions of national emotional and moral culture.
