Introduction. The article is devoted to the problem of organization
and support of students’ independent work, which is evaluated by the criteria of rating system. The article analyzes the levels of students’ independent tasks on discipline "Pedagogy" in the framework of educational process in pedagogical University. Consequently, the aim of the article is to show the peculiarities and features of organization and support of students’ independent work. The practical significance of the research results lies in their use by teachers on discipline “Pedagogy”.
Materials and methods. The main research methods are theoretical methods: forecasting, theoretical and methodological analysis; empirical methods: survey, observation, self-assessment, experiment, analysis, statistical methods.
Results. The study reveals the process model of organization of students’ independent work in pedagogical universities and the conditions of its effective functioning; the analysis is carried out and conclusions are drawn.
Discussion. It is emphasized that the main result of the project is the effective organization of students’ independent work in the rating system of educational activities evaluation of pedagogical universities students.
Conclusion. It is concluded that the actualization of the system of organization and support of pedagogical universities students’ independent work will contribute to the process of future teachers professional training.
